To celebrate the Old Northamptonians 100 years as a club and as an opening sequence to their Centenary Gala ball, HUT 3 was delighted to be invited to create a series of three videos, of which one included interviewing a cross section of the club’s members and another celebrating all the players over the past 100 years.
For the third and final video, we wanted to deliver something that was really special. We wanted to create a video that stirred emotions, showed the passion and ambition of the club, and portrayed the dreams of many that join, whilst also being a celebration of becoming the recipients of the Papa John’s Community Cup. So we created Warrior: a video that featured the dreams of a child becoming a player for the Old Northamptonians Rugby club, having a pivotal role in the team, and consequentially helping his club become victorious.
Within the video, we see the drive and tenacity of a young and incredibly talented Rugby team that doesn’t accept defeat. The match featured in the video, was the inaugural Papa John’s Community Cup, where the ONs came back from a 21-7 half time deficit to win at Twickenham. Through sheer grit, commitment, and superb teamwork, the scoreline turns in favour of the ONs and they go on to win the coveted trophy.
